About Us

A True Collaboration

The Commission on Homelessness is made up of nonprofit organizations, city and county officials, law enforcement and community advocates dedicated to ending homelessness in Evansville and Vanderburgh County.

We work closely together and with other homeless service providers every day to support this vulnerable population.

Support Homeless Connect

We think Homeless Connect is one of the best event's in town. Every spring, Homeless Connect attracts hundreds of people who struggle to access even the most basic of services--from food and health care to tax returns and utility assistance. All vendors must provide a direct service on-site that day. Donations through Dignity EVV help off-set our costs for Homeless Connect.
