Nearly 700 Attend 17th Homeless Connect
Homeless Connect is an annual one-day event that links individuals struggling to get resources with direct access to essential services. All under one roof! Individuals don't have to be homeless to attend. It's open to anyone in need.
The 2025 Homeless Connect, held on April 3 in downtown Evansville, attracted just under 700 attendees, despite severe weather and power outages the evening before the event.
Attendees took full advantage of the on-site services available at Homeless Connect, including hair and nail care, health care, dental care, eye exams, affordable housing resources, utility bill consultations, public assistance applications, legal aid, foreclosure mitigation, employment, affordable child care, educational resources, tax preparation and more.
The date for the 2026 Homeless Connect will be set later this year. Stay tuned for more information.
A Message to Vendors
Participation in Homeless Connect is by invitation only. Vendors are selected based on services that benefit our homeless and at-risk populations. All vendors must provide a direct service on-site at the event.
